**ABC has picked up NYPD Blue for a 10th season, a network rep confirms. Steven Bochco's resurgent cop drama has more than held its own this season in its new ultra-competitive 9 pm Tuesday timeslot.
New Shows in the Works:
**Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick left The Producers on Sunday, passing the baton to English thesp Henry Goodman and former Wings star Steven Weber. Lane will now focus his attention on the upcoming CBS comedy Life of the Party, while Broderick will start work on ABC's adaptation of The Music Man.
**A deal is in the works... Skeet Ulrich (Scream) has been tapped as the lead in ABC's drama pilot Miracles.
In Case You Hadn't Heard - These Shows Have Been Axed!
ABC announced that Once and Again will end its three-year run with a series finale Monday, April 15. Despite the best attempts of rabid fans and their "Save Our Show" campaigns, the network on Thursday finally pulled the plug on its critically acclaimed but ratings-challenged romantic drama starring Sela Ward and Billy Campbell.
GONE AND DEFINITELY FORGOTTEN: The midseason casualties keep piling up: ABC is putting The Court on "broadcast hiatus" after Tuesday's episode.
