-> On May 12's ''L.A. Law: The Movie,'' 11 actors return, including lawyer lovebirds Susan Dey and Harry Hamlin. It's convenient that scheduling prevented a return for Jimmy Smits, whose character wed Dey's after Hamlin left the show. Smits wished Dey well in a note she shares with EW: ''Have a great shoot, darlin'. Hey, did we get divorced or what?'' Meanwhile, Dey has no plans to reprise her ''Partridge Family'' role: ''How can I revisit boyfriends and braces?''
-> NBC is banking on a former heavy-hitter to score the winning run. According to Variety, the Peacock network has confirmed that the two-hour reunion special, The Cosby Show: A Look Back, will air at 9 pm/ET on May 19.
-> Today show sweetheart Katie Couric will make a cameo appearance in Austin Powers 3 (opening July 26). "I play a prison guard," she tells Access Hollywood, "and one tough prison guard at that." Oh, behave!
-> Rumor has it that NBC is toying with the idea of a Friends spin-off centered around Matt LeBlanc's endearingly dimwitted alter ego, Joey. According to the New York Post, Joey would debut in fall 2003, the season after Friends goes off the air. What does NBC have to say about all this? Responds a network rep: "There are no discussions whatsoever."
-> Jay Leno will celebrate his 10th anniversary as host of NBC's The Tonight Show with a prime-time special on April 30 (10-11 pm/ET).
-> Scott Foley from Felicity will be guest starring on NBC's Scrubs. He will appear in 2 episodes, April 16th and April 30th. He's a short-term love interest for Sarah Chalke.
-> Upcoming Will & Grace guest star Michael Douglas will play a closeted gay cop with a secret crush on Will (Eric McCormack), TV Guide Online has learned. The episode wryly titled "Fagel Attraction" airs April 24. (P.S.: It also has SNL alumna Molly Shannon recurring as loon-a-chick Val!)
-> NBC now confirms that Late Night host Conan O'Brien's show will remain at the Peacock for four more years, through December 2005. "By my thirteenth year," O'Brien quips, "we should really know if this thing works or not." The new deal reportedly doubles his salary to $8 million a year.
-> Looks like überproducer John Wells has cooked up one of those "crossover events" for his NBC dramas ER and Third Watch. On ER's April 25 episode, a family emergency will summon Dr. Lewis (Sherry Stringfield) to New York, where she works with Third Watch paramedics Molly Price, Jason Wiles, Kim Raver and Amy Carlson. Lewis's storyline concludes on Watch's April 29 episode.

In Case You Haven't Heard - These Shows Have Been Axed!
-> Another Seinfeld member bites the dust as NBC wraps up the sitcom, Watching Ellie on April 2. NBC denies it is bcause of a decline in ratings since its premiere, but it will be replaced by repeats of Will & Grace for a while until Three Sisters will replace permanently on Tuesdays.
